Once in a while, Aggregator ends up getting "stuck" on some feeds, and won't update them properly. This happened quite recently with my del.icio.us feed, and again with a BlogSpot feed.

What happens is that it fails to "see" updates after a certain post.

For example, it would have put the latest entry at Aug 21st, even though there may have been three more recent posts on the 23rd. Refreshing the aggregator manually fails to do anything. The feeds check out as having the updated material. Cron.php is running normally - once per hour.

Clearing the items saved for each feed and then refreshing the feed manually would clear the logjam and allow it to continue updating properly.
