Hello Everybody,

i have following problem.
i have a menu in the top , comparable to here (dokumentation/download/support/forum/contact)
now when one of these categories is pressed i want to have a submenu with several points in the left vertical menu.
an example like i want it you can find here:
http://alleinklang.tv

so my problem is that i do not know what 2 do
can you help me????

Go to Administer -> Site Building -> Menus, click Settings tab. Under the setting for "Source for the secondary links" you will find the following text: "Select what should be displayed as the secondary links. You can choose the same menu for secondary links as for primary links (currently Primary links). If you do this, the children of the active primary menu link will be displayed as secondary links."

For more control, install the contributed module Menu Block (http://drupal.org/project/menu_block).

There are alternative modules, but I think Menu Block is the most versatile.

hello again,
it sounded very logical and i tried it. but now it doesnt work.
so what i did:
i have choosen the same menu for secondary links as for primary links. i gave children to one of the primary links menus. for example home button in the horizontal top menu has 3 subitems(children) 1,2,3. now i put under site building>administer>blocks, the secondary links menu in the left vertical menu region.

what i am imagining now should happen. when i click the home button, in the left vertical menu there should be displayed links 1/2/3. but....nothing happens when i do like this. and that i do not understand. it just displays something when i add an item to secondary links menu. but the secondary links menu should display 1/2/3.
how do i tell the secondary link menu that it knows that its items are the subitems of the primary links menu????
or what have i forgotten or done wrong??
can u plaz help me?
