I made several galleries on my webpage and let them testing by other people. 50% of these people cannot navigate with the arrows below the thumbs. The arrows are visible but clicking on them has no effect. These People use IE as I do, maybe not exactly the same version, maybe some other flash version.
All other things are working, especially the arrows inside the pictures work too.
Is this a problem of flash gallery or simpleviewer?

I made further testings and found out, that the problem only occurs when the thumbs are shown below the main image. When the thumbs are shown above the main image, all works fine.
In which configurations the problem occurs (IE/Flash versions) I cannot tell, because I never had the problem, only other people reported it to me. I also assume it is a problem of SimpleViewer and I will post there a comment.

My guess is this is a fairly rare embedding problem. Flash sometimes gets a bit sloppy on the page depending on the html etc. Difficult to fix for all cases.

That is a bit of a throw-away answer. I will indeed take more advice or a patch, I just can't provide the answer at this point.
