I can no more download most of Drupal's project dev packages (all modules and themes!). What's happening?

I just checked a few (views , cck) and the -dev's are downloading from the project pages.

If I go to http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/ I get the entire directory listing (!) from the mirror at ftp.osuosl.org :: Oregon State University Open Source Lab. For example http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/cck-6.x-3.x-dev.tar.gz is missing there, also lots(!!) of other common modules and themes.
