Hello -

I am building a site that will use mapping for a couple of things:

1- Business directory: just your basic content type that allows users to input there business, address, phone, etc.. Wanted to know if there was a way to dynamically create a map showing the business location using Google maps or MS Maps

2- Similar to the above but a content type that allows for garage sale listings that, again, would allow basic information and also allow users to put there address in and have a map dynamically created to show the address of their sale.

What would be a huge bonus is if I could show option #2 as an overall map of an area (this is for a small community) showing pinpoints of the garage sales.

Is this possible?

You can achieve this by using the Location and Gmap modules. You might also want to have a look at the Classified Ads module for #2 as this has a content type that auto-expires.
