Creating single Profile for multiple groups

Great Module. My only problem with this module is that the profile fields created only apply to one group at a time. I have about 400 groups on my web site. Thus, I cannot use the module in the present form and I know that many users will have this problem too. Is there a way you can integrate applying fields created to multiple groups? This is very necessary and urgent too.
