treat feeds as if it's just another of our own articles.
so that we can give comment to it, etc... in our own web.

I don't quite understand the comment, but I think you are referring to something that is outside the scope of what the syndication module is intended for, which is a page that lists all the feeds Drupal produces in one place.
Development is now focused on Drupal 5 & 6 now.
