redndahead commentedbtw I understand I can turn it off in the settings, but for openscholar as an app it should probably be removed.
ferdi commentedAgreed. That probably should be a widget/block anyway where end user could upload a shield.
redndahead commentedMoving to Openscholar Vsite

redndahead commentedHere is a first pass. I'm not sure if it shows the files that need to be removed. There also might be more that I missed since this isn't tested yet, but I'll work on testing it soon.
redndahead commentedI have now had a chance to test this patch and it's working for me. I don't see any errors showing up on the site. Choices dissapear and the shield is removed from the site page.

ferdi commentedWill review this asap. We just need to move this code somewhere in our custom modules

jct commentedThe patch works for me in the latest version of openscholar, but it would be ideal if there were a way for admins to add shields from their own institution, rather than remove the shields option entirely.

jct commentedBeta 11 has this functionality built in. The admin link appear on an individual vsite's shield selection page when logged in as admin.
