slider breaks right sidebar

Issue Summary

I thought my right side bar was broken, but I just realized that it actually only stops working properly when I use slider.
on my front page: http://www.ectvonline.com
the slider overlaps with the right sidebar (the more you make your window smaller the more it overlaps).
on my other page w/ out slider: http://www.ectvonline.com/?q=mission/
the right sidebar works perfectly.

I'm using a modified version of litejazz.

I'm pretty new to all this, so any help would be appreciated.
