Would it be hard to integrate Nodevote and Voting modules functionalities?
Nodevote looks like having far more features, but the voting system of Voting module is just sweet:
it dislpays 5 (or more) clickable stars, much nicer IMO than dropdown menu with numbers+vote button.
Also the module uses Flash, so there is no need to reload the page just to cast the vote (if Flash does not sound like a good choice, maybe AJAX could be used as well?).
Very simple and straightforward!

I almost started to port nodevote to the voting API sometime ago, but never had the time to achieve this.
If someone has the time to do so, and can make nodevote work with voting API, and provide an upgrade path for existing users, I can be convinced to include it.
User interface changes are also welcome. Make it an option and let the user choose (drop down, AJAX, ...etc.)
Patches welcome.
