sort by creation time and display age

Description
For news sites it would be great if there was an option to sort the result with the newest first and display time since created.
Alternatively another block containing only similar entries under a certain age that could be set by the admin. This way both the absolutely most similar content could be found but also content that is maybe not the most similar of all, but which is still similar and more recent which for news site is also a relevant factor.
