Hi,
I have upgraded my drupal sight 6.16 to 6.17 and the following modules to their latest versions and now I receive access denied for all my download links. I did launch the update.php and there was no errors.

Before I pay for a restore to the previous version has anyone else had problems like this and is there a fix? I'll have to upgrade anyway sooner or later so a fix would be better.

modules were:
backup migrate
downloadcount
mollom
views
worldclock

Can anyone help please?
I am using private download method so downloadcounter will work, but anyone can download files, no user account is required. All was working great before this upgrade.

I thought I had a backup of the db, but I did it wrong.

Problem has not been fixed, but a resolution in place. I use download counter and for that to work you must use private downloads, I turned this off and now all works fine. Even paid for a backup to be restored and the problemstill was there, how strange cause it was working fine so maybe hostgator changed something on their servers or something. I am unsure. to be fair hostgator has been great to work with. They are at a loss to, but they will not dive in to a third party application such as drupal to see what is going wrong.

So I'm still open for suggestions.
