How Can I Change The Status Title?

I'd like to change the "Status" heading without hacking the module; what is the best way to approach this? Error and Warning are fine, but Status does not seem to fit well, so I'd like to change this to another term.

As an aside, I recommend adding fields in an upcoming version where individuals can choose the names of these headings from within the module config. Thanks for your help!
