i had the same problem as in this issue: http://drupal.org/node/744736

users could not upload files. installation was done following the instructions in the module FAQ. it worked on a fresh install.
so i disabled modules and discovered that WYSIWYG image upload was working again as expected when Localization Client module was disabled.

featuring this as a task rather than a bug since don't know where the problem is (no errors in drupal or server logs)

indeed it works with the current dev version of l10n module.

The FBConnect 6.x-2.0-alpha2 module messes this image upload now.. will update when/if I have a solution..
