mod_security with admin menu issue

Hello
I try to install openpublish 2.1 (its really awesome, thanks for creators)
but I get an issue with mod_security the apache web firewall module (mod_security.i386 0:2.5.12-1.el5 installed using epel repositories).
the upper left admin menu stop to open/work. but if I disable mod_secuirty its gone fine.
please help me to fix this issue - I try to search which rules that affect and stop javascript so I must disable it - but its seems hard to me.
so if any get an experiences with issue like this please help
