The editor is randomly disappearing. Some things that will bring it back are deleting browsing history, cache, cookies and/or restarting the browser. This behavior is happening in Firefox (Windows), and I think at one point IE was exhibiting the same behavior. I have only seen this behavior happen once to me, but my client experiences it quite frequently. I have IMCE installed if that helps.

Pls try to update CKEditor module and plugin to newest version.
