the default is off, unchecked....but when I go to edit it and check it on and then return back to check my edit/update...it does not take/hold?

does this need to be checked on within the specific role in order to have a forced matrix or just checked on in the forced matrix tab?

I just wanted to add that actually when you go to update ANY of the forced matrix fields within a role, the changes do NOT stick/hold

??

This is really still work in progress... 8-)

I had not implemented the submit() function yet.

Now that works!

What I need to do next is the implementation of the counting of users below an affiliate. The fact is that I want to count only those who paid for something. Until then, users remain below the same person. So affiliate A may have 1,000 sub-affiliates, but only 3 who paid something. Those 3 are assigned as expected, the other 997 are still below affiliate A. Anyway... once I get that part working, we'll have something that can be tested and more or less working.
