Good Day,
I have had it with ixwebhosting. I can't do anything, everything slows down to a crawl and they tell me that there is nothing wrong with their servers and its my drupal installation. I have had it, STAY AWAY from IXWEBHOSTING! I will not recommend this company ever..
I need recommendation to a reliable Linux hosting in the US. Please reply only if you have been with the same provider for the last 3 - 4 years and would really back them up.

I am a happy customer of Bluehost.com's shared hosting for the last 3 years and have recently extended it for some more years. For the Drupal site I have set my PHP memory to 64M.

I have mine set at 96M. IX at one point was great but now a simple 1 module update turns into a nightmare.

In fact, my host offered a PHP memory of 124M. But, 64M suited me!

After a few weeks of learning how things work. Got my VPS up and hopefully more control over it.
