Is it normal that I still get authorization failed on cvs login ?

The first time the account is created, you need to wait 1 or 2 hours. When you change the password for the CVS account, you need to wait 30 minutes before the change is propagated to the CVS server.

Did you follow the correct procedure to log in to CVS, before to execute any operation on CVS?

Yes, I tried just exporting CVSROOT and doing 'login', following instructions here:
http://drupal.org/node/177400/cvs-instructions/DRUPAL-6--2

I tried this morning (over 8 hours later approval) with no luck.
Changed CVS password this morning after last failure, but less
than 30 minutes ago... will try again later.

All fine, after those 30 mins and password change it worked fine.
