Description
hi, i installed gworks, following the instructions, after taxonomy_context and node_image, but when i activate it, all the menu disappears! i restored a previous backup of the db, but i would like to use gworks, some help? all are version 4.4.0, drupal 4.4.1, xtemplate.theme from gworks tarball.

By "menu" do you mean the "blocks" at the side of the page? If so, this error may result from all blocks being right-aligned. Gworks only displays blocks on the left. To avoid this error, left-align blocks (administer > configuration > blocks) before enabling gworks.

My guess is he means there's nothing across the top, because that's what's missing over here. The entire top banner with tabs is missing. How do I fix this?

Gworks 4.4 used taxonomy_context to generate top-of-page menus. In 4.6, this is done through the theme instead (taking advantage of phptemplate's support for navigation buttons). Navigate to admin/themes/settings and put the links you want into the fields for "primary link settings".
