It is very confusing to start using this module without any documentation. I've searched package for readme file, then I searched issues, then forum topics and only found reference to Drupal 5 usage here - http://drupal.org/node/83597 and it's not relevant for Drupal 6.
Please provide at least a slightest mention somewhere that you have to change "style" settings to use the module, as it took me several hours to figure it out.

First, please be aware that the snarky tone of my response is directly related to the snarky tone used in your post.

ARE YOU BLIND?

When you first install Views, there is a message that appears on the Views list page that directs you to install the advanced help module to get the documentation. You can turn off that message. If you turned off that message without actually installing the advanced help module and reading the documentation, then it's your problem.

Also, on the project page, for the convenience of users who don't want to go to the rather small effort of installing advanced help, there is a link to a version I keep on the web. The links are helpfully provided in a section with an H3 tagged headline stating

Views documentation

Finally, even if you ignored *all of that*, if you searched the package for a readme file SURELY you noticed the directory 'help' which contains a whole lot of HTML files containing documentation.

I am amazed that you were able to find the documentation to submit an issue if you couldn't find any of those sources of documentation.
