Hello, I have been really happy with the image publishing module, which has allowed our IT staff to upload galleries on behalf of our users in a much nicer way... But, we'd prefer if users could create/upload to new galleries themselves... And short of giving full admin privs, we are unable to determine the correct requisite perms for this module to work.
Right now, I have a user who can:
read/write and create images
administer galleries (which is already too much - I just want them to be able to ADD to existing, or create new galleries).
Given our load of modules, I can only guess that the "administer node" permission is also required, but it's just a guess.
Even if that's the case, we REALLY don't want to give that permission out to people who are basically just photographers for the site, and not administrators. It would be great if some image gallery/image publish specific permissions were created to give finer granularity WRT the image_publish module, for larger collaborative sites.
But, at this point, ANY information about the actual permissions required to (A) see the gallery list from windows web publishing/iPhoto2Gallery, (B) upload images to an existing gallery, (C) create a new gallery would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
-deano
