Dear Alun,

So far, i have two leagues in the leaguesite module. Each league belong to one season(i have two seasons).

Now i want to show latest league based on the current season by default after adding filter (leaguesite: current season) but it doesnt work.
Also i only see old season if current season filter is enabled.

Any idea?

Yeah, probably the custom handler I built for the current season.
It finds the most recently started season. If a season has finished, but a new one not yet started, it will still display the old season.
I think thats how it works, it definitely needs some options built in, which will come in time.
Are these rules wrong? If so I might need to update it.

Those rules are not bad but i think you can provide an option(radial button) for admin/editor to decide when to display the most recent upcoming season. If no option is selected then default rules will take effect.

So does this mean that, using filter(leaguesite:current season) i wont be able to view previous season until the most current season is started?

Currently, if i enable this filter (leaguesite:current season) then i cant see current season which is not yet started. I can only see old season.

Yes, thats the way it should work. If you think about managing your website, you may want to start setting up the next season ready for when it starts. But you don't want your views to suddenly start showing this season, therefore the current season filter does not show it until it has started. Thats the best way that I can see.
I might look at building some options in for your use.
I'll change the issue to reflect this

I have added some options to the filter. Wording them wasn't easy! Let me know if you need clarification on the difference between the two options and I can explain. If anyone has a better way of wording it, please let me know!
