I have a tree like this:

Parent 1
-- Child 1
---- Child 2
---- Child 3
Parent 2
---- Child 4

Can I assign permissions to Child 1 and be able to use that term and Child 2 and Child 3, but not Parent 1?

Hi,

I have a similar hierarchy and was asking myself the same question.

If I use the hierarchical select module I do not see any Child 1/2/3 entries if I do not have permission for Parent 1, so I would assume your scenario does not work.

Nevertheless I would also like to have this functionality as I have nodes on each level!
