Hey,
I have the latest stable installed and set thickbox to open entered HTML in a modal window. I have 'once' set under splash settings, but whenever the user goes to my front page, the modal keeps reloading. (Links from splash page go to the front page, the front page is the only page that splash loads on, so it becomes an endless loop). I am able to have links go from splash to sitename.com/?nosplash and that shuts it off, but if they ever click 'home' the splash modal reloads again. There doesen't seem to be any cookie set.
I have installed the recent bug fixes on this queue and refreshed cache and theme registry.
Also, for testing, when I try to set 'display on next visit,' I am unable to do so as splash doesn't save my selection.
What should I do?
Thanks!

rc2020 commentedFYI - This problem also happens for 'always' setting as well, the cookie is not being set and the user is seeing the splash page repeat indefinitely.

rc2020 commentedAs is I'm unable to use on my site so I'm marking issue to critical.

telechris commentedI can confirm this as well. 'Daily' does not show the splash page at all; however, 'always' does seem to work for me. I would rather just use 'daily'.

telechris commentedThere was a recent fix posted; however, this did not work for me:

codewatson commented@ #4, did you apply both of those files in #858654, clear your cache and select the option in splash to re-make the cookie file?
