I have a site which has a number of roles created and a lot of content. I want to restrict access to various nodes to roles, this I have done and they cannot access a node that they do not have permission to. The problem is that all menu items for the nodes have disappeared for all users (even if they have access to the associated node) unless they role has the "Administer Node" overall property which I obviously do not want.

Any ideas.. Access control is working, and I assumed that the menu items would appear if the user had access to the associated node.

Ok, to add something to this I have added a PDF with the screens. I have also tried going back to a version earlier as I was sure this worked on. The issue is that menu items on the navigation and primary menu do not appear when using the Content Access module unless the node has either "Anonymous" access enabled or the role has "Administrator Nodes" right.

It appears to be a compatibility issue with "Project", when this module is enabled, the items do not appear on the menu. Disable it and everything works fine.

I've created a content type, gave view permission to anonymous, enabled project module, and everything working fine.

If you still have the problem, reopen and write the steps that you made, I can't know what you did to get to that situation, so help me to help you.
