In my case the teaser length was limited to 200 chars (now unlimited). TinyMCE produce code for body content. If the length is limited to 200, the code in the teaser is cut. It could damage the whole template if /div or /span of the body content are removed in the teaser.

Exemple of cut code at 200 chars(just before br class="clear"), my body contains an image:

    <div class="content"><a href="/fr/node/524"><img src="http://www.cal-fachaux.com/fr/system/files/images/TD-SortieEau00-02.petit_format.jpg" alt="TD-SortieEau00-02" title="TD-SortieEau00-02"  class="image petit_format video_image_teaser" width="160" height="120" /></a><span CLASS="inline left"><img HEIGHT="120" WIDTH="160" CLASS="image petit_format" TITLE="TD-Calibreuse01" ALT="TD-Calibreuse01" SRC="http://www.cal-fachaux.com/fr/system/files/images/TD-Calibreuse01.<br class="clear" /><br class="video_image_clear" /></div>
            <span class="links">&raquo; <a href="/fr/node/524" title="Lire la suite de cette contribution." class="read-more">en lire plus</a> | 1 lecture | 27 secondes | 1 plays | 0 downloads</span>
    </div>
