I ask because we're considering specifying Drupal 7 for a site that has a fairly long deadline, I'm assessing the D7 status of modules we might need.

If you didn't see already, "The Webform Block module is now built-in to Webform. It should not be installed at the same time as Webform 3.x." Consider this module deprecated for Drupal 7.
