Coral CDN or other caching mirrors

Sometimes linking to Digg or slashdot can bring down a site, so why not offer the option to have the links use a caching mirror like Coral? Perhaps it would be a trivial thing to add an option to offer this. In the case of coral CDN it's just a matter of adding ".nyud.net:8080" to the end of the URL sent to Digg or whatever.
