Drupal.fr is an online community (Social Network) for all drupal users that speak french "Drupal pour les francophones". Drupal.fr powered by Open Trium (http://openatrium.com/).
Our goal is to make Drupal more popular in Africa, our company "ABYA Media" located in Morocco (Technopark Casablanca with over 420 it companies from France to Japan).
We use Drupal for all our projects and we make a lot of promotion to the web agencies to use Drupal, already we have the 1st newspaper in Morocco "Almassae" that use Drupal, and some others, governement project also turn to Drupal.
We will organise the first Drupal Meeting in Morocco Casablanca "Technopark" and we will offer a free training/presentation for Drupal.
Drupal.fr will be an online community for Drupal around the french speaking people around the world and we will provide help to the new users/webmaster, free consulting for association etc.
Drupal.fr will also provide tutorials for the popular modules and make installation profile, creating and converting themes, case studies in french, documentations etc
We are in preparation for Ramadan here in Morocco, and we will make it a month for Drupal. We help everyone that want to convert to Drupal.
Many people ask me about the right to use Drupal.fr in domain name as its a trade mark of Dries Buytaert.

I. AUTOMATIC LICENSE OR LICENSE GRANT PROCEDURE?
This section explains whether you are entitled to an automatic license (in which case you can use the Drupal trademark without having to complete or receive any document), or whether you need to follow the license grant procedure. You will only be entitled to an automatic license when you are in any of the situations described under subsection A below, and not simultaneously in any of the situations described under subsection B below.
A. You receive an automatic license when:
1. You exclusively use the Drupal trademark to either extend or improve the Drupal software, or to encourage the use of the Drupal software (in short "foster the Drupal software" ).
Examples of "fostering the Drupal software":
* a course entitled "How to use Drupal in your business" organized by a local non-profit organization;
* an open access monthly journal called "Drupal Coding magazine";
* an open source Apache plugin "JIT Compiler for Drupal";
* a freely distributed homebrew Drupal theme "John's Drupal Christmas Theme";
* a website "drupalhalloffame.com" with pictures of famous Drupal contributors;

Drupalfr.org make drupal
Drupalfr.org make drupal translation etc our goal is different, we want to offer free services for organisation / association in Africa, and we want to promote Drupal in our local community as we are installed in Technopark Casablanca with over 410 IT companies.
Most of french speaking in Africa/north africa, don't know about Drupal, Webmasters know that Drupal is a good product, but they get lost in Drupal with the big list of modules etc.
Drupal.fr is a Social Network for Drupal not a drupal portal website like drupalfr.org, we will not do the same job as drupalfr.org but every drupal users can have his own group to make everything he want, help, translation, documentation, code snipets, installation profile.
For example, i want to create a Drupal for SEO group, i will offer all the module to use with Drupal, documentation, Howtos, tutorials.
Drupal.fr is a Social web for Drupal. I will create the same project in English and Arabic to promote drupal in Africa.
