Hi Dub,

I've tested the cvs version and it works fine. I like the addition of the site-offline front page setting.

on that topic, would it be an idea to add the following to the front page module..making it into a front_back_and_sides.module ?

- 404 page settings (custom page not found page)
- 403 page settings (custom access denied page)

this might be adding in to much but I was also thinking it might be useful to have an external links page..e.g. someone arrives on the site from google and you want to present them with some specific inroduction info. about the site. Like a mission statement but specifically for visitors landing on the site from search engines or referral sites.

oh yeah. overriding the maintenance page would also be great too.

Hi Phillip, this can already be achieved in the admin/settings/error-reporting page where you can set a path as the 403 or 404 pages. This allows you to create nodes that would be used as these pages. I could add these options into the config page but I think thats just redundant.
