Using custom registration form

I have a customised registration form in a user-register.tpl.php file. Inline registration does exactly what i need except for the fact that it uses a default registration form. How can i make the inline_registration form use my user-register.tpl.php form?

Alternatively is there any way to style the form created by the inline-registration module? Possible wrap a div with an ID around it or something?
