Hi,

IMCE 6.x.1.4
IMCE Wysiwyg API 6.x-1.1
WYSIWYG 6.x.2.1

with CKEditor are working great and when I'm logged on as User 1 and editing content of a node using this Rich Text Editor, I can browse server for images and upload new as well. The browse button appears when I click the image button of its toolbar.

But when I'm logged on as any other user, even this user has all the permissions, the browse button doesn't appear.

What to do :(

Thanks

Same thing happened to me. I found out you have to go to admin/config/media/imce and add Role-profile assignments to the roles that should be able to use IMCE. That solved it for me

I'm having the exact same problem too.

Could you please clarify how you resolved it? I am not sure where the "admin/config/media/imce" route may be found.

Yeah, I too could not find this path :-(

Hi,

The actual path is:

admin/settings/imce

Have a great one.

That fixed it for me too.

I can't find it at admin/settings/imce or config/media/imce. Neither of these configuration pages seem to work at all on my site, and I've run cron and dumped cache like a hojillion times.

The problem is the Date>Context module gumming up the process somehow. It has nothing to do with IMCE. Of course, IMCE is causing a different problem entirely, but that's for a different thread...

Goto Modules, find IMCE, press configure, that will drop you to this path:

admin/config/media/imce

Here You can ad the proper profile name to the role Administrator

IMCE distinguishes the role Administrator account from the role Administrator. The name of the profile is usually User-1.

That fixed the issue for me :-)

It worked for me. Super!

Yes, in Drupal 7 you can find these settings at http://example.com/admin/config/media/imce

There you can define which roles may touch the Browse button
