For singer / songwriter Pete Droge, http://droge.com.

This site uses an early version of the AMFPHP module for Flash to Drupal communication, and custom node types for each bit of content.

For those interested, please check out the AMFPHP module at http://drupal.org/project/amfphp. Patches, suggestions, bug reports all appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott Nelson

The site looks like it uses Flash 8. Adobe decided not to release Flash 8 for Linux, so the site can't be viewed on my computer.

Can't view it.

I installed IE + Flash 9 for linux (here) in order to view this with my Ubuntu.

Wow, this site must have taken a lot of work. It's awesome.

Good work. Very impressive.

I like the little touches like the hotair balloon floating by in the background.

What a gorgeous site. Great fun, relaxing experience exploring this virtual world. I can't imagine how it's done, but it's a total joy from the music play through the great guestbook.

hi,
are only news taken from drupal?
I've done some complex drupal integration at www.dlaczego-nie.pl - it is a site for polish movie. The site is in polish. To get rid of splashscreen just click "dalej->".
It takes news (tesaers and full versions) from drupal, all static pages, list of image galleries and images in galleries. All integration is done using simple module i've written in few hours, which exports nodes and galleries as xml you can see the result at (http://www.dlaczego-nie.pl/exporter/node/50)
there is also html version (www.dlaczego-nie.pl/index.php) which is pure drupal and is one to one mapping of a flash version.

best regards,
Pawel Gawlowski

Every section, except for "composer reel", pulls content from Drupal. This allows the client to have full control over the site content. XML is definitely an easier solution on the Drupal end, but requires some extra work on the Flash end. Have a look at the AMFPHP module and see if that might work for you in the future.

This is definitely one of the best flash sites I've ever seen. Usually flash sites don't do much for me, but the way this one is fun to visit. Although there are lot's of flash effects used, the site design doesn't overwhelm me with the use of flash. Just a great website IMO. Plus what a nice introduction to Pete Droge. I don't keep up with the music scene, but his music style suits me just fine.
