We already have 1 site up and running with Drupal, which we are really happy with (thank you Drupal community) and would like a very small microsite as a subdomain off the main site. What is the best way of doing this?

Could we have the pages redirected, it would want a seperate theme but could I just theme the pages as a seperate node type?

I would ideally like to keep all content together so would appreciate a heads up from someone in the know, or just some ideas, on how to get this going?

Thanks as always,

Chris

Check the Domain Access

Check the Domain Access module.

Thats the best solution, whats the worst?

That is a fantastic solution, the only problem is that I am only looking to serve up about 3-5 pages and it seems like slight overkill, im sure i'll chase my tail on this and come back to your answer, but I wonder if there is a simple way to do this on a very small scale?

Update#2

We already have sub domains setup on our site so I am not sure that wildcard DNS would be suitable. Everywhere I look all I can find are solutions for domain access, I am almost sure I am being stupid here, but isnt there a small config that I can do for a single subdomain and a couple of pages?

Have you tried the http://drupal.org/project/subdomain module? You could use taxonomy or a separate content type to identify pages that belong in the subdomain.
