I have the simplenews subscription block on my home page. Anonymous users can enter their email address and hit "save" and they're supposed to be added to the subscription list. The email address receives a confirmation email saying that they've been added, but when I login as admin and check the list, it doesn't show the anonymous user on it.

If i'm logged in though and click "subscribe" everything works as it should.

I have checked all the permissions and anonymous users are allowed to subscribe.

Any idea what's going on?

I have this issue too...

But after the user confirm the subscription it seems that everything runs ok.

Agree, un-validated anonymous users don't appear in the subscription list. But once they've validated their email using the link sent to them, then they do appear.

If you're logged in then there's no need to validate your email address, so you are added straight away.

It might be nice to have a separate list of non-validated emails...

Please help. For me , the anonymous user is not getting the validation email too. Nothing happens when an anonymous user enters his email and subscribe. In the case of logged in user, everything is working fine.

Is there any way to auto validate an anonymous user subscription, or at least get the list of anoymous users who has not yet confirmed with a status inactivate in the subscribers' list ?
