Hi,I would be incredibly obliged if you all experienced people here can help me out with two queries of mine
I am not very experienced in drupal and have the following requirement
I am working on an ecommerce website through which I will sell educational (TestPrep)products.I also want to have a really fantastic discussion forum .
Though I can't help appreciating what a fantastic CMS drupal is; however I find that the discussion forums on drupal are not very catchy and attractive.I want to use phpBB3 as it has quite professional looking interface for a discussion forum and suits my requirements.
1.Please suggest whether I will face any issues if i use the following module

OR
2.should I create a sub-domain such as forum.xy.com and create a forum using phpbb3 ? and what will be the repercussion,if any,of doing so ?

It's quite likely you will face issues as using a bridge module can be a royal PITA. Drupal forums can be as "catchy and attractive" as you want them to be. It's all theming. Take some time and make the forum look like your site rather than just tacking phpbb on to the side of it like a wart. :P
