Don't beat me up too much for this one ... but it would be GREAT if this module could have a delay setting that would allow it to behave like a Meta Refresh; i.e., pause on an intermediate page before going to the desired URL?

Why?

So that a service similar to "LinkBucks" could be implemented where the User is taken to a branded or monetized landing page (and maybe even display a countdown timer for the admin-selectable delay) before being transferred to their destination url.

I know this probably sounds like a step backwards and probably not possible via 301 redirect; but I would love to see it happen.

I will gladly test any code for this feature :-)

This issue was filed against the previous Drupal 6/7 module that used this project namespace.

The namespace has been taken over and the module has been replaced by a completely new and unrelated project for Drupal 10/11.

The original code remains available in the 6.x-1.x branch.

Closing this issue as it no longer applies to the current module.

Now that this issue is closed, review the contribution record.
