Hi

How can I set the text label INSIDE the search field of a custom search block?

I've searched through the issues for various combinations of "text" "inside" "search" "field" "default" "label" "value" "starting" "initial" etc, with no results.

I would also like to be able to do this. Not critical but it would sure be a nice feature to be able to customize each search field.

check out compact forms, it allows to modify drupal forms using css ids
