Hi All,

We have a fresh install and I was attempting to apply some module updates. I put the site into maintenance mode and logged off....Ooops. When I go to example.com/update.php I'm told to edit settings.php. So, I RDP onto our Windows 2008 server, find settings.php, open it with Notepad++ and cannot save it!! Can someone please tell me how to sae changes to settings.php, even after I've unchecked Read Only for the file and for the parent directory?

Update: I was able to edit settings.php by copying the parent directory to another one under My Documents, made the change, and then copied the directory back. I then navigated from my local machine (not the server) to example.com\update.php The update ran fine. Now...How do I login as admin to take the site out of maintenance mode?

go to example.com/user/login and login as normal! good luck with your site
