The problem here is that CCK outputs *all* it's fields to the RSS feeds by default.

Is there a way to change this behaviour and select to output only some fields?

Contemplate can actually do this togheter with theming content-types teaser but has other drawbacks.. while the teaser themed in the node-content_type.tpl.php file is not reflected in the RSS.

I've been looking into the same thing.
I just found this: Allow node altering for RSS generation at http://drupal.org/node/41703 which might be useful, have to check. might be over my head though...

fangius: i had a look at that issue, but honestly i didn't got how to "theme" the RSS...the Contemplate.module seems to me (no coder!) far more straightforward for now.

Contemplate is indeed great for this kind of thing!
nicholasThompson might be onto something here: Solution for RSS, CCK and Views.
Haven't had a chance to test it though, I'm having troubles with webforms at the moment.
