Hi,

I was planning on using the Stock API in conjunction with the Stock Module, or perhaps create my own module. My client runs an energy consulting company and would like to show energy utlity company stock quotes on their site. Is there anyway to retrieve the Sector and Industry, so that I can filter results this way. If a new energy company enters or leaves a stock exchange, I dont want to have to manually track it.

Issue queue cleanup for stock_api.

If you wish to continue to use the stock_api module, please upgrade to the latest release 7.x-2.x.

Previous branches and releases made use of yahoo finance feeds which are no longer supprted by yahoo.

This has been corrected in the latest release 7.x-2.x which now relies on google finance instead.

As for sector/industry, this is not something that is currently supported however we are open to others bringing this functionality to us.

Should you have this functionality and wish to share it, please open a new issue with the patch and set it to 'needs review'.
