I'm actually not sure which queue this belongs in - but I'll try here first.

Nodewords provides a field called "Short URL" - could Shorten provide a token to populate this field?

Sorry for the delay, I was on vacation --

IIRC that field is for canonical URLs, and it doesn't make any sense to use a canonical URL that isn't on your own domain.

Regardless though, this issue belongs in the Nodewords queue because that is the module that would have to change code to use the Shorten URLs API.

We're closing the module to feature requests so we can focus on stability. Moving to the new project namespace where feature requests are open.

The Metatags project will be heavily token-based. So if the Shorten module provides tokens for its short URLs, they could be easily used.
