modify wysiwyg_image_upload

Hi, i'm trying to modify wysiwyg_image_upload in order to reduce the KB of the image with the instruction:

--> imagejpeg(old_image, new_image, quality);

but i don't find the line in the code where the image is uploaded to the server. Anybody can help me??
