The module admin menu if set to be fixed to the screen top loses its fixed status (becoming absolutely fixed per the css files) when on the .../treemenu/add and the Toggle branch selector to options/GUI is selected. Once selection occurs, reselecting the first option does not resolve the problem. Since the admin menu adds the "fixed" to header styling, the problem is probably some conflict in the PHP hooks or whatever.
