Taxonomy Menu vs OG Galleries

I love Taxonomy Menu, it does just what I want. However, OG Galleries has introduced a problem for me. Whenever a new group is created, OG creates a new gallery vocabulary in taxonomy categories which in turn creates a new menu item in Taxonomy, which is automatically activated and automatically shows up in the menu structure.

New Items Deactivated
I would like to request a checkbox on admin>settings>taxonomy_menu that determines whether new entries to taxonomy_menu will be activated or left deactivated when created. If the switch is left unchecked, new items will automatically be activated as usual. If checked, they will be added, but left deactivated. They can be checked later by the admin if desired.
