I would like to request the option under "Issue Identification" of having Volume, Issue, and Custom Title. For example, you could have Vol. 10, Issue 1, "Winter 2006" or Vol. 10, Issue 5, "July/August 2006". It is important to be able to track volume and issue numbers, but also give a custom title to reflect the quarter, month, etc., which is more useful to users.

I have been trying E-Journal for a few days, and I am very impressed. Much more powerful than E-Publish, and I have used CCK Computed Fields to expose E-Journal information to the Views module.

Ok,
the numbered issue references now can contain the title as well - it is displayed after the "normal" issue reference. You can tweak it in the theme_ejournal_issue_reference if you have other needs.
