Is there any plans on a new release, if nothing else for the Drush 3 fixes?

I was just coming here to report an error with D7-alpha6 and Drush 3 and B&M when I saw this issue. I'll attach my error here, and hopefully it will coerce the maintainer into a new release. :)

drush dl backup_migrate results in the error File backup_migrate-7.x-2.x-dev.tar.gz is corrupt (wrong md5 checksum).

I don't see how the D7 issue is related to a D6 release, but I agree with the original issue that the 6.x-2.x branch is due for a release.

Drush is at version 3.3, but the backup_migrate recommended release is still incompatible with the 3.x branch despite the patch being committed 6 months ago.
