Corrupt Search Page Title

Hello,

I'm kinf of at a loss with an issue on search. This is far from a fresh install. The site has numerous modules installed. The issue is more an evolution rather than a fresh install issue. I have a multilingual site with the category, views and many other modules.

Loading search/node gives me a page with the title "Search" and "Home" as breadcrumb + the serahc form + the regular node and user tabs. When I then do a keyword (ex: test) search, the result page comes up with what seems a random category name as the page title and also loses the tabs, the breadcrumb changes to home>somecategory, the form is still there and then a list of results. Totally weird...:-)

I disabled and re-enabled the module and reindexed the whole site but symptoms persist.
I made sure I had no url overrides under views but something fishy is going on here.

I tried the forums but got no responses and thought maybe this could be a bug?
Any Pointers?
