**SOLVED** URL /user does not exist.

I am working on migrating my site over to a new hosted server but am having some issues. I can view my home page just fine but as soon as I try to go to a link on the site or any url I get a "does not exist" error. This even includes non clean URLs.

Background:
New web server, same hosting company. I copied all my files over, exported mysql database, imported on new server. went through and made sure I emptied the cache tables. I changed my settings.php file to have the correct new mysql data login.

Since I have not commited yet it is running under a subdomain of another domain. For the life of me I can not figure out what I am missing. If I can get this figured out my pan is no make a few more changes to the site, then cut it over to the new server when I am ready. unfortunately I have not got pass the first step. This is my first drupal site but am still a rookie.

Can any when help me figure this one out. Is there a place where the domain that I installed the sire under statically set?

Solved It - .htaccess Did not copy correctly

I figured it out. For some reason my .htaccess file did not copy correctly so the clean URL option was broke. I figured this out by disabling clean URLs and then exporting it and importing it into the new servers mysql. I noticed I could not enable clean URLs which drew me to two conclusions mod_rewrite for Apache was not enabled or my .htaccess file was broken. Since .htaccess was enabled by default by my hosting solution, I knew I had a problem with the .htaccess file. Copied the file over and replaced the existing one and everything started working again.
